NATURAL & SUSTAINABLE
WOOD
Théo-Bébé uses solid wood (white Australian cedar / melia azedarach) from sustainably managed forests.
MDF
MDF used by Théo-Bébé is made of sustainably-grown rubber tree. Théo-Bébé has chosen to use carb-P2 with American standards because it contains a very low level of formaldehyde: 4,1mg/100g (tested by an independent laboratory), which is much lower than European E1 standards (maximum 8mg/100g).
RATTAN
Useful and prolific, rattan is a sustainable fiber whose existence is not threatened. Rattan enables local populations to inhabit rainforests where it grows, keeping the ecosystem alive and providing an alternative to high-level exploitation of these forests. Théo-Bébé’s furniture is probably the only baby rattan furniture that conforms to French and European standards
for children’s safety.
PACKAGING
To save the oceans from any kind of plastic and avoid any waste, we use only cardboard and paper to pack our products; we provide 100% plastic-free packaging.
WATER-BASED FINISHINGS
Théo-Bébé uses a water-based paint, non-toxic and without solvent or smell.
Baby is protected, as well as his family and the Earth. Thanks to the quality of its materials, Théo-Bébé has obtained the LABEL A of air quality (ISO 16000 used in French housing, tests done by an independent laboratory).
