Our commitments
Théo Bébé has been working for multiple years to reduce its environmental impact. It is thanks to a real awareness from all parties, the manufacturing workshops, designers, and customer service.
The oceans are the first affected by pollution: micro and macro plastics poison the marine fauna and flora.
We have been searching for multiple years to find the best way to make our furniture environmentally friendly: made from natural and biodegradable materials, no chemicals harmful to your health or the environment, with a packaging designed to reduce wastage to a minimum.
In France and in the world, the furniture industry is responsible for enormous quantities of pollution: manufacturing, volumes of waste, plastic packaging, toxic products used at the expense of your health and the environment…
Our furniture is constructed to stand the test of time: evolutive, they adapt as your child grows for many years. Made from the highest quality, they can also be used for future children.
The least polluting waste is the one we don’t produce at all…
Starting from the 1st January 2020, there is zero plastic in any Théo Bébé products:
The furniture is made from solid wood, rattan, or MDF, the screws entirely from metal, and the paints and varnishes are water-based without any solvents.
The packaging is entirely made from carton: no more polyester, no more plastic film, no more plastic wrappings

The wood fibres are biodegradable, and reusable, and our varnishes and paints do not use any products made from a hydrocarbon base.
The metal is 100% recyclable, infinitely. The carton packaging is recyclable and reusable, on top of also being biodegradable.
